Registrations Open for NPD 29th Citizens Academy
9-Week Program Begins September 7th
Nashua Police Chief Andrew Lavoie announced today that registration for the department’s 29th annual Citizens Police Academy ae now being accepted.
The nine week program begins on Thursday, September 7and will be run from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. on consecutive Thursday’s concluding on November 1.
Featured will be presentations by the department specialty units; Hazardous Device, SWAT and K-9. Two evenings will be devoted to the Detective Bureau and Crime Scene team. A Mock trial will be held during the session with the Legal Bureau and attendees will meet with the Chief Executive Officers as well as to hear about the department’s accreditation process.

The deadline to register is Thursday, August 31st.
